This is a truly terrible picture, but yeah. I like how it's going, but it's too cold outside to work on it and I'm unmotivated. When it gets warmer I'll work on it again.

Ew! The is the progress on the recreation piece. I'm trying to trust the process but it's seriously not going well.

Frida drawing for the poem piece. My idea is to do a playing card with two Fridas on it, to represent the two aspects of herself she showed in her painting Two Fridas. This one is supposed to represent her modern...side? IDK

Oh my god, it was an absolute pain in the ass trying to draw her a second time. I eventually gave up and traced the outline of my previous Frida sketch, and it still looks bad. I need to make the shoulders wider but, other than that, I'm leaving it well enough alone. That was torture. This Frida is supposed to represent her connection to her indigenous culture, so I tried to draw a huipil. I'm a bit scared to add the embroidery that often appears on traditional huipil and tehuana dress.
